Pressed Flower Art

In this workshop, COLLIDER Artist-in-Residence Norma Drish will introduce participants to the art of flower pressing through the ages and now; exploring various drying techniques such as air drying, silica, microwave, and traditional pressing, while emphasizing environmentally conscious growing and harvesting. Participants will then select, design, and arrange their own botanical artwork on 5x7 recycled paper. Ages: 18-99. Space is limited, email Liz.Magee@LFPL.org to sign up.
